World Affairs Council of Atlanta presents “The New Face of France” [fr]
The World Affairs Council of Atlanta symposium « The New Face of France » will take place July 11.
After the recent political changes in France, the World Affairs Council of Atlanta is organizing the symposium « The New Face of France ». Consul General Louis de Corail and Francois Bresson, Head of Finance Americas of Orange Business Services, will discuss the recent election of President Emmanuel Macron, the new French political context and possible scenarios for the future of the European Union.
Will the mantel of European leadership be assumed by a renewed Franco-German alliance? Is the sweeping victory of En Marche a rebuke of the European Project, or a sign of unity and determination across the continent? Is the embrace of an outsider’s party a rejection of far-right populism? All these questions will be answered on Tuesday, July 11 at the Orange Corporate Office (100 Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30339).
