The long awaited training on "Learning and Teaching with TV5Monde" was a success! [fr]

30 French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teachers attended an impactful training with the following objectives:

- to learn the best teaching practices in using audio-visual documents;
- to explore the website ‘TV5Monde’ and its resources;
- to learn how to teach media literacy;
- to understand the main parts that constitute an ICT-based lesson plan.

The training was supported by the Cultural Service Department of the Embassy of France in the United States, the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, and the Alliance Française d’Atlanta, and was run by Guy Vandenbroucke from TV5Monde. Vandenbroucke is an experienced educator with more than 30 years of experience in the teaching of French as a foreign languague, and currently teaches at the Crossroads School for Arts and Science (Santa Monica).
