Teaching Assistant Program in France - Apply now [fr]
Recent graduates and young professionals wishing to broaden their horizons by teaching English abroad are invited to apply to the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) which is sponsored by the French government.
The application deadline of February 28 is fast approaching. Selected applicants will work in French public schools for 7 months, teaching English to French students of all ages.
The program will accept approximately 1,500 American and U.S. permanent residents to work across all regions of France and in its overseas departments such as Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion.
Prospective applicants can find answers to frequently asked questions, read first-hand accounts from former assistants and learn more about the application process on the official website.
TAPIF provides valuable teaching experience plus allows participants to improve their language skills and experience French culture firsthand. Following their year in France, teaching assistants often pursue global careers in education, international business, public health, international policy and development, arts and culture administration, and other fields.
TAPIF alumni are regularly recruited by top graduate schools preparing the next generation of global professionals. These schools recognize the value of language proficiency and intercultural competency, cornerstones of TAPIF.
