Visit of Senator Olivier Cadic in Atlanta [fr]
Olivier Cadic, Senator of French citizens living abroad, made his first official visit to Atlanta on January 22-24, 2017 as part of a consular tour.
During his visit, Senator Cadic met with the consular advisors and received briefings on the French community in the U.S. Southeast. He visited the Little DaVinci School and the Atlanta International School in order to have a better understanding of the French education proposed in the region. Interested in economic questions, the Senator met with Commissioner Pat Wilson of the Georgia Department of Economic Development as well as the French Foreign Trade Advisors, Claire Angelle, the Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of International Affairs, and Invest Atlanta. He also visited the North American Headquarters of the French company, Gravotech Inc., and met with their director, Fréderic Lallemand.
Finally, the Senator met with the local French community during a reception at the Residence.
