Bastille Day Celebrations [fr]
Many French associations are preparing festivities to celebrate the French National Holiday. Find out what activities are going on in your area.
On Tuesday, July 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, the Consulate General of France in Atlanta will host a Bastille Day Celebration at Buckhead Tower at Lenox Square (3399 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA). This reception is invitation only, and a limited number of slots are available for French nationals registered with the consulate.
On Saturday, July 18 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the Alliance Française d’Atlanta will host its Bastille Day Celebration 2015 with a Soirée Blanche at Nelson Mullins (201 17th Street, Atlanta). Come and celebrate France’s Independence Day on the magnifique rooftop of the Nelson Mullins Law Firm at Atlantic Station while supporting the Alliance Française d’Atlanta. Enjoy a French-inspired buffet, French wine, live music, Anne Fontaine fashion show, and shop our huge high-end benefit auction, known as the French Market. All proceeds go toward the educational and cultural programs at the Alliance Française. This all-white affair is not to be missed! On Sunday, July 19 the Alliance Française de Jackson will celebrate Bastille Day at the Jackson Yacht Club (700 Yacht Club Road, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157) A cocktail hour starts at 5:00 pm and dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. RSVP by Monday, July 13, to email@example.com
On Sunday, July 12 at 6:30 pm, the Alliance Française de Charleston will celebrate the French National Day with a covered dish picnic at the home of Susan Fasola (2755 Magnolia Woods Drive, Seaside Farms, Mount Pleasant).
