Meet the Consulate’s Spring 2021 interns [fr]
This March, the Consulate welcomed three new interns, who will work remotely.
Caroline is a Ph.D. Candidate in Molecular Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic, where she researches epigenetic targets for non-toxic bladder cancer therapies. She moved to Ohio after graduating with her bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Caroline is a 2020 Mirzayan Science Policy Fellow at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, as well as a U.S. Congressional Intern. She is passionate about bridging the science-policy gap and engaging local policymakers to benefit the overall community.

Justin is a Business Administration and French double major at Oglethorpe University, and also a member of the school’s track team. Justin is a native of the Metro-Atlanta area with a constant desire to learn more and help others. He is also a true francophile, interested in all things French.
Madeleine is an International Affairs and French major at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to diplomacy and traditional international relations issues, she is also interested in the intersection of IR and other areas, such as technology, language education, media representation, and sustainable development.
