French-American Logistics and Transportation Conference in Savannah [fr]

Consul General Denis Barbet will visit Savannah, Georgia on September 10 where he will participate in a French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) business trip focused on logistics and transportation between Georgia and France.


During this one day trip, the Consul General and other participants will enjoy a tour of the Savannah port, the fourth busiest container port in the United States in 2013. Then, the FACC will host a transportation logistics conference on "Shipping between Georgia and Europe” that will include panelists William Behrens, North America Representative, Ports of HAROPA (represents Port of Paris, Rouen and Le Havre in France) and John Petrino- Director, Business Development, Georgia Ports Authority (GPA).

Organized in partnership with the World Trade Center Savannah, this trip is aimed to better understand North America-Europe logistics solutions.
