On July 15 at 6:00 pm, the Alliance Française de Nashville will host a workshop “Rappelle-toi: An in-depth look at the poem Barbara by Jacques Prévert” at the AFN Resource Center (2000 Glen Echo Road, Suite 109). Participants will engage in activities that provide them a profound understanding of the poem, appreciation of its historical context, and insight into how to analyze poetry. On July 15 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the French American Chamber of Commerce-Southeast Chamber is organizing a wine tasting at Atmosphere Restaurant (1620 Piedmont Ave. Atlanta, GA 30324). On July 17 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, the Alliance Française d’Atlanta-Midtown will host a Happy Hour for its members at its Midtown location (Colony Square, Plaza level, 1197 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta GA 30361) Practice your French, enjoy a glass of wine and a selection of French cheeses as you unwind for the weekend. On July 23 at 6:00 pm, the Alliance Française de Nashville is organizing a workshop on “L’Art de la Table at the AFN Resouce Center (AFN Resource Center, 2000 Glen Echo Road, Suite 109) Offered in French, this workshop will discuss the main rules and traditions, the regional specialties and the wine/meal mix to give to your dinner a "French Touch".
