France-Atlanta 2020 was centered on innovation and exchange, with the organization of largely multidisciplinary events aimed at strengthening ties between France and U.S. Southeast.

Artificial intelligence (AI) was among the topics covered during the 2020 program’s virtual events. During a series of webinars in October, participants had the opportunity to reimagine human-machine relations within the context of artistic and musical creation. In November, participants explored the ethical questions related to AI.

The impact of COVID-19 on our society was another key theme of this year’s webinars as scientific, cultural and economic experts discussed the impact of the pandemic on equitable access to healthcare and vaccines; on contemporary art institutions; on the transition to teleworking; as well as its impact on the agrifood sector.

Finally, as for every edition, the year’s events provide an occasion to strengthen transatlantic ties in the business sector. For example, participants had the opportunity to discover new and existing economic opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic during events focusing on the film and video game sectors and on local startup ecosystems.

We thank our partners for their support as well as our sponsor who helped make this edition possible: Raymond F. Schinazi & Family Foundation, Jade Fiducial, the Franco-American Chamber of Commerce - Atlanta, Michelin, TV5Monde and Gravotech.

We invite you to watch the webinars in replay on our site: france-atlanta.org.
Stay tuned for the 2021 edition!
